The tunnel stretched ahead beyond sight, pitch-black and leading who knew where.
But they did not care where it ended. They were not heading forward.
"Is it here?" Angel asked Dox.
Dox nodded. "That's right. Whether we go forward or back, the time it takes to get a response from sensing that trace of mental power grows longer."
That meant where they stood was the closest point to the mental power possessing Little Mole.
Angel looked around. There was nothing special about this spot; it lay in the middle of a tunnel, with no door or other unusual marks.
Apparently, the normal route to the Underground Arena Tournament did not pass through here.
