Babaregon's location was exceptionally conspicuous, because there were no other buildings within a mile of it.
Moreover, the room Babaregon lived in was not one of Pirus's beloved pyramid rooms, but a strangely shaped structure, somewhat like a honeycomb fashioned from multifaceted prisms.
At the top of this "honeycomb" floated a pure-white eye lamp. When the light it emitted struck the mirrored surfaces, it immediately scattered, bathing the surroundings in a vast expanse of white.
"Babaregon has three heads. One of them can sense changes in light and shadow," Luigi said. "So, as long as someone steps into the light, it will sense them immediately."

As they entered, one of the mirrored panels on the distant "honeycomb" slowly opened, and a new eye lamp flew out from the pitch-black opening.
This eye-shaped lamp differed from the one in the sky. It did not give off light, but was instead a surveillance device similar to a Wizard's Eye.
The eye lamp flew above their heads. After circling once through the air, it let out a deep buzzing voice. "You singing peddler, why aren't you preaching those childish poems to your Tooth Fairy Baby? What are you doing here?"
Luigi said, "You think my poems are childish? You're the childish one. Do you dare speak with your big head? Stop pretending to be mature with your little head!"
"Who are you calling little?!" The eye lamp flew before Luigi, its originally golden pupil turning scarlet, as though it were enraged.
Luigi extended a finger and flicked lightly, sending the eye lamp flying two meters away.
