After Angel and Luigi left the Haunted House, they had not waited long before Babaregon came drifting in.
Previously, Babaregon had wrapped its entire body in a cloak, revealing only its triangular head. Now, however, it had even discarded the cloak, exposing its whole body.
It had already seemed tiny while wearing the cloak, but without it, that miniature quality became even more pronounced.
Its body was somewhat like that of a roly-poly toy. Its neck was very thin, yet the farther down one looked, the rounder and fuller it became. Its skin was pale yellow, with faintly visible scales glimmering across it.
It had a tail far larger than its body. The tail was translucent, gelatinous, and lustrous yellow, curling upward... somewhat like how a little kitten, when lifted by the scruff of its neck, unconsciously raised its tail to shield its soft belly.
It had two claws—or rather, two hands—but compared to its body, they were extremely slender. Still, its hands were somewhat like springs and could stretch very far. Each hand had six pale, delicate fingers, capable of extremely precise manipulation.
Overall, if Babaregon's tail did not curl upward but hung down, its total length could reach two meters. But with its tail raised, excluding the tail's length, it was less than one meter tall.
It truly was... a miniature dragon.
Seeing Babaregon reveal its true form, Luigi walked up with a smile and tugged at its gelatinous tail. Judging by the dents his hand left in the flesh, it felt exceptionally good to the touch.
Babaregon shot Luigi an annoyed, cold glance. "Touch me again, and I'll shut the laboratory doors, activate the protective barrier, and lock you in for a week!"
