"I hate people who leave things half-said." The head on Babaregon's left let out a disdainful female voice.
"I don't like it either." A babyish voice came from Babaregon's main head.
"I actually..." The buzzing voice had only gotten halfway through before it abruptly stopped. "Wait, the fog seems to have thinned a little. Huh?! Look ahead—is that the statue Shi Zhen mentioned?"
Babaregon's main head and left head looked straight ahead.
Just as the right head had said, the fog had indeed grown much thinner. Because of that, they could see a statue of a strange beast standing not far ahead.
According to Shi Zhen, the first statue Babaregon encountered was supposed to be a dragon beast hatchling.
But this statue looked neither like a dragon beast nor a hatchling.
The statue stood around five meters tall and was pink. Its overall form was rather lean and gaunt. Its long, slender legs accounted for nearly three-fifths of its height, so it did not appear particularly massive.
It had a thick, fluffy body like an ostrich's, its pink feathers crystalline as jade. One wing was spread open while the other was folded; the extended wing was exceptionally broad, with each pink feather rendered lifelike.
Its neck was like a swan's, slender and long, covered in fine down.
Its head, meanwhile, was a triangular snake's head, and a thin vertical pupil could clearly be seen in its brown eyes.
To Babaregon, it was merely a somewhat mismatched beast statue, worlds apart from the "dragon" in its imagination.
But to Angel outside the Box Garden, this beast was quite famous—at least, it was rather well known in the Southern Region.

This was an Abyss Magic Beast with thin dragon blood. Although its dragon blood was sparse, its own bloodline
