Lady Roseleaf looked over in puzzlement. "You think the consciousness space and the Dream Crystal Plain are different? How are they different?"
Magic Flute held up two fingers that gleamed with an obvious metallic sheen. "There are two clear differences."
"First, the beings of the consciousness civilization spend their entire lives within the consciousness space. They have no physical bodies of their own in the material world."
In other words, most consciousness beings in the consciousness civilization were more like frogs trapped at the bottom of a well. Almost everything they saw and heard was shackled within that well of "water" known as the consciousness space.
The farthest they could see was the boundary of the consciousness space.
They had no idea that reality existed beyond the consciousness space, that there was another world, and beyond that world lay boundless, endless void, along with every dazzling form of civilization.
They were not shackled by the lifespan of mortal flesh, yet they had also cast away the lofty perspective that mortal flesh could behold.
And the Login Device Gleipnir had introduced was more like a medium connecting two worlds.
Though the Dream Crystal Plain sounded somewhat like the consciousness space, traveling to the Dream Crystal Plain was not like entering the consciousness space—a one-way ticket with no return.
One could visit the Dream Crystal Plain at any time and freely choose whether to log out and return to reality.
That freedom of coming and going was utterly different from the consciousness space.
On that point alone, the Dream Crystal Plain was vastly, vastly superior to the consciousness space.
Lady Roseleaf pondered. "There truly is a difference between them in that regard. But..."
Lady Roseleaf had barely begun her "but" before Magic Flute waved a hand and cut her off.
"Don't rush
