After reading the description of Main Quest 4, a flash of understanding passed through Luigi's eyes.
The descriptions of Main Quest 4 and Main Quest 2 were almost identical.
The only difference was that Main Quest 4 had an additional "wait" stage. Otherwise, just like Main Quest 2, it required him to speak with Uriel and influence the Instance's subsequent route through the choices he made during the conversation.
It might have been nothing more than talking to Uriel, which sounded simple enough.
But in Luigi's eyes, this conversational task was likely even harder than the seating assessment.
The seating assessment was a straight road. There would indeed be bumps along the way, but those bumps could be overcome. Once he crossed them, the road ahead would be smooth and open...
At the very least, he would not take the wrong road.
Talking with Uriel was different. Every word he spoke would reshape Uriel's judgment of him.
What direction the Instance would ultimately take depended entirely on how Uriel viewed him in the end... Or rather, the choices he made during their conversation would lead the Instance down vastly different paths.
In short, speaking with Uriel was like standing at the start of a road with countless forks. Luigi would have to keep making choices, and every choice would lead him onto a different branch.
Those branches could not all be the right paths. Most of them would be wrong roads.
To reach the final destination in one go, he had to avoid choosing wrongly from beginning to end. Otherwise, he would have come here for nothing.
And he only had one chance.
There was no possibility of trial and error at all.
So, in Luigi's view, talking truly was not simple...
