This was a name Angel had gotten from Yota's mouth, and it was also the name of the place where they currently stood.
It sounded rather childish, as though it had been picked on a whim.
But that childishness was purely Angel's judgment from a human perspective. From the Crystal-Eyed Race's perspective, there was nothing "naive" about the name Bubble Cemetery.
Just like Dudu Li and Dudu Bi—Angel found those names somewhat cute, but from Dudu Li's perspective, they were perfectly normal names.
This was probably what they called... cultural differences?
Angel muttered a few words to himself, then temporarily set aside the question of the cemetery's name. "So the glowing bubbles here are actually all Sacred Corpse Crystals?"
Angel raised his head and looked toward Yota in the distance.
Yota said, "No. The glowing bubbles are merely a type of Crystal Shell. They prevent contamination and energy erosion, while also protecting what lies within from harm."
After a pause, Yota continued, "However, Sacred Corpse Crystals do indeed exist inside the glowing bubbles."
There were millions upon millions of glowing bubbles here, and every single one contained at least one Sacred Corpse Crystal.
In other words, if Sacred Corpse Crystals were regarded as sleeping people—
Then at this very moment, floating, curled up, and deeply asleep around Angel were at least several million, perhaps even tens of millions, of Crystal-Eyed Race ancestors.
And this was merely one of the Crystal-Eyed Race's cemeteries.
Judging by Yota's tone, there were many more cemeteries. If every cemetery was of this scale, then the number of sleeping consciousnesses would likely exceed a hundred million.
And that was not all.
Among the Crystal-Eyed Race, only those with some fame—or rather, some standing—could have their Sacred Corpse Crystals placed in a cemetery after death.
