"Shadows of countless silent planets...?"
Angel murmured Gleipnir's words under his breath.
There were two keywords in that sentence that Angel found particularly significant.
"Countless"—it seemed to be an extraordinarily vast quantifier, one almost never used in ordinary circumstances.
Angel had noticed this word because the very first sentence in the prologue of the Starry Sky Book used it as well—"I bring countless astral spirits to offer what little aid I can to those who wield the power of the starry sky."
With such an unimaginably vast quantifier, Angel did not believe Gleipnir had mentioned it for no reason.
It had to have a deep connection with the Starry Sky Book.
The second word Angel had noticed was "planet."
Or rather, it was the very concept of a "planet" that caught his attention.
In the universe where Jon's hometown lay, nearly everyone understood the concept of planets. They were enormous celestial bodies in the cosmos.
Even Jon's hometown—Earth—was, in essence, a planet.
But the concept of a "planet" did not exist in the Wizarding World.
Had Gleipnir not mentioned "planets" today, Angel might never even have considered that the universe they inhabited could contain such things.
Or perhaps I've misunderstood. Is this planet not that planet? Angel mused inwardly.
Angel certainly could not figure this out through thought alone, so he did not continue wasting his effort. He directly voiced the doubts in his heart.
"What do you mean by shadows of countless planets?" Angel asked. "And what exactly is a planet?"
Several seconds later, Gleipnir responded.
"What is a planet? I don't know either, because I have never seen one. I can only give a general account of what I understand... about planets, based on the scattered remnants found in books concerning the Astral Spirit Realm."
Gleipnir pondered for
