After completing the semi-finished wig, Edward soaked it in Alchemy Wonderwater.
Under normal circumstances, the wig and the Alchemy Wonderwater would not have reacted at all. Yet somehow, Edward had done something to it, and the wig was slowly absorbing the Alchemy Wonderwater. Like a sponge, it kept greedily sucking it in as the Alchemy Wonderwater visibly vanished.
While the wig absorbed the Alchemy Wonderwater, Edward picked up the Wood Spider Silk and Fragrant Butterfly Calla Lily, processed them, and slowly began weaving a bow.
About another ten minutes passed.
Edward took out the wig that had absorbed the Alchemy Wonderwater. With one hand, he continuously stroked the strands, using his talent to channel away the clotted energy within every hair; with the other, he wound the pure-white bow vine around the hair.
The energy-channeling process lasted five minutes.
The entire process had unfolded right before everyone's eyes. Yet no one present, including Angel, understood what Edward was doing.
They could only vaguely sense that, as Edward continued channeling the energy within the strands, the wig's hair became increasingly lustrous, as though coated with oil—bright and sleek.
Moreover, the energy within the strands became increasingly harmonious.
It was as though the Alchemy Wonderwater absorbed earlier had completely fused with the hair.
The hair was it, and it was the hair.
"I have absolutely no idea what just happened..." Luigi murmured softly through the Mind Tether.
Gleipnir said, "I couldn't make out how his talent operated."
Earlier, Gleipnir had kept her attention on Edward's physical body, attempting to observe the workings of his talent through the transmission of energy within his flesh.
But she had gained nothing at all.
On further thought, that made sense. Edward's talent had definitely been bound to some sort of Transcendent Dimension organ rather than his
