Dudu Bi: "You want to learn simplification formulas?"
Once Angel confirmed that Dudu Bi understood simplification methods, he immediately adopted a humble, eager-to-learn attitude and asked to study simplification formulas.
Angel nodded shamelessly. "Yes. Recently, I've been looking for some new magic-pattern vertices, but whenever I try to simplify an energy structure, I never know where to begin. It's troubled me for a long time. I happened to run into you today, so I wanted to ask you for guidance."
"Don't worry, I won't take advantage of you for nothing. I—"
Dudu Bi interrupted him. "I already said it. Don't talk like this is some kind of transaction."
Angel immediately shut his mouth.
Seeing this, Dudu Bi let out a quiet breath and continued, "I can teach you simplification methods, but the simplification formulas you mentioned aren't omnipotent."
Simplification formulas did indeed exist.
But not every energy structure was suited to them.
More often than not, simplification methods placed greater emphasis on experience. Only after one had seen a thousand sails pass by could one glimpse the small and know the whole at a glance, gaining an insight in one's heart.
Someone without experience who rigidly plugged things into simplification formulas would usually end in failure.
In short, Dudu Bi could teach Angel simplification methods, but it would be a long-term lesson in experience.
It was impossible for Angel to take a simplification formula and immediately soar into the sky from where he stood.
Hearing Dudu Bi's earnest explanation, Angel froze. His original plan had been to use simplification formulas to simplify the energy structures he needed and obtain the magic-pattern vertices he wanted.
But now, it seemed that he had taken things too much for granted.
Angel silently looked at Dudu Bi. "Is there really no universal simplification formula?"
