When Camilo questioned him, Luigi did not answer at once. Instead, he turned his gaze toward Blanche.

Under his fixed gaze, Blanche looked somewhat embarrassed. Bit by bit, she slowly withdrew the head she had poked out, tucking it back into the crook of her legs.
