In other words, it was an ability for setting up variety-show stages and all manner of variety-show scenes.

Even for variety-show performers, this was not an especially impressive ability. They did not need to arrange sets themselves; as long as they came up with a plan and spent some money, professionals would naturally handle the setup.

For Angel, it was even less useful.

Not only could he conjure scenery from thin air, he could even transform things into living people directly. He did not even need to hire actors for a variety-show stage... During the Variety Grand Prize he had held in Tina Square, everything from the stage and special effects to the sound, lighting, and performers had been created by him.

Those combined were far more useful than simply arranging a scene.

Angel sighed. As expected, a hidden ability did not mean it was powerful; it merely meant it was rare.

To Angel, this "Scenic Design Expert" was practically as useless as chicken ribs.

All in all, of the three abilities, only "Variety Master" was somewhat useful in Angel's eyes. The other two... were not much good, and the hidden ability was even a notch worse than the regular ability.

At first, Angel had thought he was lucky to draw a special ability and a hidden ability on his very first card draw. But from the standpoint of practical application, he was not all that lucky after all.
