"Please wait a moment. I'll bring out the projection equipment."
The staff member went into the inner room alone. About half a minute later, he emerged carrying a strangely shaped cylinder.
At first glance, the cylinder in his hand resembled a monocular telescope, with a convex lens at its top. The inside of the lens was pitch-black, making its internal structure impossible to see, while the cylinder's casing bore the Maple Star emblem representing the Evening Glow Group.
"This is the holographic projector." As he spoke, the staff member gestured for the security personnel to turn off the reception room's lights.
Only after the room had grown dim did he begin operating the projector in front of Angel.
He pressed the switch, then began turning the calibration dial on the cylinder.
With just a slight turn, Angel sensed a beam of light projecting from the convex lens.
An exceptionally clear holographic image emerged within the spectrum.
This sort of projection was somewhat like the flowers and grass along the streets of Modern City—the roadside plants were basically all fake, entirely projected through holograms.
However, the image being projected now was not flowers or grass, but a majestic building seen from above.
Under the night sky, neon lights flickered. Every window was lit, their brightness varying, and together they formed the pattern of Maple Star across the building's exterior.
"Calibration 1 is the Evening Glow Group's corporate image." The staff member smiled. "If you ever get the chance to go to the surface, you can visit the Evening Glow Group and check in."
"Our group is the friendliest toward people from the Underground District."
As he said this, the staff member deliberately pointed at the mutant model who had appeared on the Shining Show stage earlier.
"Licolice App was a model
