While Angel was lost in thought, a voice called out beside his ear.
Turning around, Angel saw a "chieftain" walking toward him.
This "chieftain" wore brightly colored, loose robes, covered from head to toe in ethnic elements... It was Kang Mu.
However, compared to the Kang Mu Angel had seen in Eighth Town before, Kang Mu now had an extra feathered crown atop his head. The neon-bright feather crown was woven from dazzlingly multicolored feathers, carrying a strong exotic "chieftain" flavor.
Perhaps noticing Angel staring at his crown, Kang Mu said somewhat bashfully, "I saw this colorful feather garland on Grave Street. Though anyone could tell at a glance that it copied Master Alexei's 'Bird Crown,' it wasn't easy to achieve even a few points of resemblance, so I bought it..."
Angel asked, "Master Alexei is...?"
"He's the chief designer of Jise Studio, and his specialty is the ethnic-style clothing he created himself." As he spoke, Kang Mu pointed at his own outfit. "I especially like Alexei's work. What I'm wearing is ethnic style. Although it wasn't personally designed by him, it still came from Jise Studio."
Angel roughly understood, though there was still a trace of emotion in his eyes.
Some people were clearly lucky stars, yet the outfits they liked were unlucky-star style.
Was this what they called contrast?
Angel shook his head and said nothing. He merely told Kang Mu, "Let's go. We'll find somewhere quiet to handle proper business."
Kang Mu nodded, though he still had no idea what business he was supposed to handle.
Angel had originally wanted to take Kang Mu to the care center and find a quiet room, but considering the chaos inside, he ultimately gave up on that idea.
Instead, he circled around to the back of the care center
