The main quest, however, never explicitly told them to save money. They had merely inferred that saving money might be the answer.
If there was a way to clear the second round of the main quest without saving money, then the concept of a "time-to-money ratio" would not apply.
The funds required for the main quest might far exceed one million, or they might be far below one million.
For now, though, Angel decided not to consider those matters.
Wasn't the reason Yusuf had warped the Prada Beauty Pageant simply that he lacked money? Even if there were other ways to clear the second round of the main quest, Angel was absolutely certain that money could pry Yusuf's mouth open.
