Little Green smiled meaningfully. "Little Green is registering the gentleman and recording his information onto his communicator while she is at it."
"A communicator?" Angel murmured softly. "These Corner Codes are used to make communicators?"
"Sir knows about Corner Codes too?" Little Green glanced at Angel in some surprise. Though Corner Codes could be found everywhere in Modern City, most people merely regarded them as runes from a foreign land. Those who could accurately name them Corner Codes were rare.
Angel said, "I've heard of them."
Little Green studied Angel thoughtfully before continuing, "These Corner Codes are not used to manufacture communicators. They are used to record and transmit information."
"As for the communicator itself, once the information has finished transmitting, it will be handed over to you."
Angel did not press further and simply watched Bambu work in silence.
He had originally wanted to see whether he could discern anything from the arrangement of the Corner Codes through God's-eye view, but unfortunately, he did not understand Corner Codes in the slightest... Naturally, he could not make sense of them either.
Still, Angel carefully memorized the shifting Corner Codes around Bambu, intending to hand them to Turing for analysis afterward.
