Gleipnir circled the formation, trying to find an angle from which she could see inside the door.
Yet this door, standing at the center of the "Six-Pointed Eye," was covered tightly by a "door curtain." From any angle, not even the slightest crack could be seen.
Gleipnir could only give up on observing it and turn her gaze to Angel.
"Can you sense what's inside?"
Angel said, "I couldn't before. Now, though, I'll give it a try."
Before, when the Lightless Expanse had not yet connected to the present world, Angel could vaguely sense its location, but he had no way to observe its interior through his God's-eye view.
But now that the "door" was standing right before them, it meant the Lightless Expanse had been "captured" by the present world. There was a good chance he could observe what was inside now.
With that doubt in mind, Angel activated his God's-eye view.
This time, Angel's field of vision smoothly entered the space beyond the door.
But when he focused on what lay behind it, his expression froze.
Behind the door was a cellar.
The cellar was exactly the same as the one they were currently in. Or rather, the space behind the door had replicated the cellar they occupied.
Even the "Six-Pointed Eye" formation on the floor had been "copied" over.
Yet aside from replicating every fixture in the cellar, Angel found no other clues within the "Lightless Expanse."
He did not see the supposedly sealed Carnival Night Clown.
"Did you find anything?" Gleipnir asked curiously when she saw Angel's furrowed brow.
Angel pondered for a moment. Instead of answering at once, he expended Nightmare Illusion power and directly projected the scene he had seen within the Lightless Expanse into Gleipnir's "inner-eye view."
Earlier, when the spotlight had illuminated
