In a pure-white hospital room, an elderly man with graying hair lay with his eyes tightly shut.
Judging by the wrinkles on his cheeks and the grayish-white spots at the corners of his eyes, he was at least in his sixties. Dressed in a hospital gown, he lay on the bed.
A female nurse attended him at his side.
This was the scene Angel saw within the blue orb of light.
The protagonist was undoubtedly this old man, but who was he?
As Angel pondered this question, a line of text introducing the scene slowly surfaced on the Text Panel.
"This person was involved in the attack on Yaxixi Circus six years ago and was one of the participants at the time."
The moment Angel saw this information, understanding dawned on him.
He still did not know the old man's name, but since he had participated in that attack, he was effectively Sisley's enemy.
And Alfred had searched for Dark Corner because Sisley had commissioned him to uncover the identity of that "mysterious child" from back then.
In a sense, if the attack on Yaxixi Circus had never happened, Alfred most likely would not have gone missing in the end.
Therefore, those who had attacked Yaxixi Circus back then had indeed, in a sense, caused Alfred's disappearance.
Classifying him as "weakly related" was reasonable as well.
After sorting out the connections, Angel understood that this man had probably never even come into contact with Alfred. Finding clues through him was unlikely.
With that thought, Angel pushed the orb away and began examining the next one.
Before long, Angel had finished viewing all fifteen blue orbs.
Almost all of them contained people who had participated in organizing or carrying out the attack on Yaxixi Circus. Though they had indirectly led to
