Angel stared at the two items, "Startup Capital" and "Talent Pool," his eyes full of contemplation.
A moment later, he contacted Gleipnir.
"Now that we're cooperating with Yusuf, can Prada Media's funds and talent pool count toward the main quest?"
If they could, it would at least lighten part of their burden.
Gleipnir did not answer immediately. Instead, she went straight to Yusuf to test it.
The result was... they did not count.
Both the startup capital and the talent pool had to be newly acquired; they could not be taken directly from Prada Media's existing reserves.
The result left Angel somewhat disappointed.
The startup capital was not much of a problem. Ten million looked like a lot, but with Zuniga, that "high-level Demonic Beast mobile lure target," around, they could gather it soon enough.
Only the talent pool left Angel feeling particularly helpless.
They needed to add fifty new magicians, and Prada Media's own magicians could not be counted. That made it seem very difficult.
They could find a way to get the money, but they could hardly train talent on the spot, could they?
Eh?
Angel's expression suddenly froze, his eyes narrowing. Talent... why couldn't they train it on the spot?
A possibility suddenly occurred to him.
He had previously thought the talent pool requirement would be difficult because magicians were scarce in Modern City to begin with, and magicians with independent backgrounds were even scarcer.
Thus, finding fifty magicians willing to join Prada Media would be extremely difficult.
But he had just thought of another possibility. Magicians were scarce in Modern City because training them was exceptionally difficult. But what if Challengers entered the Instance and were trained into magicians?
As Challengers, they did not need to wait specifically for Fashion Demonic Beasts to come to them.
