Gleipnir arrived at the security room on the first floor.
She knocked lightly on the door. Under Kaushike's puzzled gaze, Gleipnir pointed to the side. "Let's talk over there."
Though Kaushike had no idea what this was about, he still nodded. After greeting the others in the security room, he walked out.
Gleipnir led the way, heading straight out of the building. She did not stop until they reached a secluded, deserted corner.
Kaushike wore a puzzled expression. "What is it?"
Gleipnir said nothing, merely turning to stare intently at Kaushike.
Kaushike vaguely sensed that something was wrong. Instinctively, he wanted to summon his magic book, but before he could make a move, the "alarm" in his eyes slowly turned into "dullness."
Only when she saw the change in Kaushike's eyes did Gleipnir softly ask, "Is it done?"
She was not asking Kaushike, but speaking to the empty sky.
"It's done." Angel's voice sounded out of thin air.
Looking at Kaushike, who stood like a puppet in the distance, Gleipnir murmured under her breath, "He was controlled just like that? I didn't expect it could be done this way..."
Earlier, Angel had contacted Gleipnir and asked her for a favor.
He wanted Gleipnir to meet Kaushike so that he could control Kaushike and ask him some questions.
By "control," he naturally meant hypnotizing him with Nightmare Illusion.
The reason he had Gleipnir meet Kaushike was that, when they had parted ways in Eighth Town, Angel had left a great many Nightmare Illusion Nodes on Gleipnir.
Angel could not directly control Kaushike, but he could use the Nightmare Illusion Nodes on Gleipnir to indirectly hypnotize him.
The results proved to be rather good.
Within this instance, there was practically no one who could resist Nightmare Illusion.
Gleipnir asked, "What do you
