Hidden Waters.
When he observed from God's-eye view, Angel had only felt that this expanse of water was vast and dim.
The currents looked boundless, yet were in fact deathly still, with not a single living creature in sight.
But only after Angel dived into these waters did he realize that his earlier impression had been somewhat one-sided.
God's-eye view could only "see"; it could not detect the anomalous properties within the waters. For example, through God's-eye view, Angel had been unable to perceive the presence of a certain special oxygen molecule within the water.
Only after entering the Hidden Waters did Angel discover that these special oxygen molecules were everywhere.
Since they had been bestowed with the title of "special," they naturally had their uses.
And their use was simple: as long as one inhaled these oxygen molecules, one could breathe freely even underwater, without worrying about oxygen deprivation.
Of course, this only applied to breathing. Other underwater conditions remained unchanged; water pressure, for instance, was still a problem.
However, "free breathing" came at a price. Inhaling too much would induce hallucinations, causing all kinds of strange visions to appear before one's eyes.
As for why Angel knew this so clearly, it was because the Text Panel had given him a prompt as soon as he entered these waters.
"Hidden Waters" "These waters were cut from the Dark Corner and are saturated with Oxygen Breath Factors from the ■■ level. Moreover, because they involve certain characteristics of the Dark Corner, supply materials may occasionally refresh within these waters."
It was a very simple text introduction, yet it was the rare kind of information that unveiled a map.
Within this description, there were two entries that could be examined further. One was "Oxygen Breath Factors," while the other
