"L-Lady Lizi, hello..."
April First huddled in the corner and gave Lizi a somewhat stiff wave.
—The reason he had squeezed himself into the corner was because he was sitting beside Lizi. If it had been Box Garden Lizi, that would have been fine. But now that he had confirmed this was the real Lizi, he was a little afraid. He shrank against the edge of his chair, forcibly pressing himself into the corner, looking like someone begging to be bullied.
Lizi smiled and nodded. "Hello to you too. After all, this is our first time meeting in a dream."
Though Lizi was clearly smiling, April First felt the back of his neck turn icy. He hurriedly turned his head away, not daring to look at her any longer.
"Mr. Angel, it wasn't that I didn't log in earlier, it was..."
"I understand. Lady Lizi told me."
April First's eyes lit up. "Then have you and Lady Lizi reached an agreement, sir?"
"There is nothing Lady Lizi and I need to agree on. I merely invited her to have a meal here."
Although Lizi had entered the instance a quarter of an hour ago.
Angel had not spoken much with Lizi. They had merely chatted casually about some ordinary topics and, while they were at it, invited Lizi to have a meal here.
For nearly half that time, Lizi had not been in the private room. She had gone to chat with the receptionist of the private restaurant instead.
She seemed to be probing for information.
The receptionist clearly knew Lizi well, and the two chatted intimately for quite some time.
