"May hermits be free of worry." A teddy bear doll in a little floral dress pulled aside the curtain and bowed to Angel. "Welcome to the Hermit Society."
Angel had just entered the Iron Box Tavern with Little Green when he encountered this scene.
"This is... a special form of a Fashion Demonic Beast?" Angel studied the teddy bear curiously, secretly wondering what kind of Demonic Beast it was.
Little Green somehow produced a festive folding fan, covered her mouth with it, and giggled. "Then you guessed wrong. This isn't a Fashion Demonic Beast—it's a magical creation."
A magical creation? Angel suddenly understood. He thought of the Variety Elf's scenic-building ability. That too was a form of creation.
There was another branch in the Fashion Magic system devoted specifically to creations...
"Manufacturing Series magic?"
"That's right. This is a welcome teddy bear specially made by the president for this welcome banquet."
"But it's not your fault for getting it wrong. Every newcomer guesses wrong when they first see it."
Little Green's tone was quite proud as she said this. This ability to create something indistinguishable from the real thing was President Lila's specialty. With such a powerful president, she naturally basked in the reflected glory.
When the president had been away before, Little Green had worried that recruits would run off. She had even deliberately put up all sorts of imposing façades just to fool them.
But now that the president had returned, she no longer needed those bluffing tactics, because the president herself was a gilded signboard!
"Do you have self-awareness?" Angel asked the teddy bear curiously.
The teddy bear tilted its head, its button eyes fluttering. "When you ask that question, which of us is truly confirming the other's thoughts?"
Angel raised a brow. This was a philosophical
