As Angel pondered, he walked toward the stone slab.
He intended to use the Box Garden's perspective to see what was happening inside the Instance.
"Sir, you..." The Giant City Spirit's voice came from behind him.
Angel stopped and turned to look at her.
The Giant City Spirit hesitated, then said softly, "I'm worried that if you approach the slab, it might pull you inside."
"Don't worry about me," Angel said calmly. "I have a special item that prevents any Instance from pulling me in on its own."
"But you don't. For your own safety, stay as far from this slab as you can."
With that, Angel turned back to the slab and reached out to sense what was inside.
The others had no idea what he was doing. All they could do was wait in silence.
A moment later, Angel withdrew his hand, a strange look on his face.
The Instance was called "Window."
Yet nothing inside it seemed remotely connected to a window.
From the Box Garden's perspective, the Instance's current setting was tiny, only a little larger than the Uriel Instance before it had expanded.
The word "current" mattered because this Instance clearly had not fully opened yet.
The setting was a pitch-black cave shaped much like a bagua diagram. At its center was a circle, with twenty-four stone beds arranged around it in a precise pattern.
At the center of the circle, the Square Mirror floated upright and still, completely enclosed in a transparent barrier.
The awakened people who had stumbled inside had split into two groups. One searched the cave for an exit, to no avail. Someone tried to approach the Square Mirror, for instance, but the barrier stopped them.
The other group gathered around Bonida and listened as she explained their situation.
