Through that list, she could tell which races were currently all the rage in the Instrument World.
The Creator had naturally made this list available in hopes that the Seed Gatherers would avoid the popular races and seek out scarcer ones.
The fewer members a introduced race had in the Instrument World, the higher the final performance rating.
Thus, the White Porcelain Singer knew which races in the Instrument World were mainstream and which were scarce.
"However, Ms. Gosha also said that what she knew was the situation from a thousand years ago. Over the following years, the Seed Gatherers should have filled in quite a few scarce races, so what was scarce a thousand years ago may not necessarily be scarce now."
