As Angel narrowed his eyes in thought, a peculiar sound reached his ears.
Turning around, he saw that one of the four doors in the center of the hall had suddenly begun to swell at a frantic rate. Each time it expanded, it let out a series of explosive bang-bang sounds.
After growing several times larger, the sealed door clicked.
The door was pushed open, and Gabriel floated out from within.
Seeing that it was Gabriel, realization flashed through Angel's eyes. He had initially wondered whether something had happened when the door expanded, even suspecting that it might explode.
But now, it seemed the door had enlarged merely to accommodate Gabriel's massive size.
"You got out pretty quickly." Angel smiled and offered his praise.
Gabriel sensed his surroundings and immediately grasped the general situation.
"Gray Porcelain privately told me before that he might not beat me in battle, but he definitely had me beat in brains." Gabriel had his illusion puppet spread its hands. "But looking at it now, I'm still a cut above him. I give myself ninety points!"
"Not a perfect score?"
Gabriel said solemnly, "You can give others a perfect score, but when grading yourself, you have to leave some room. Otherwise, there'll be no room for improvement."
"...You're not a cut above anyone. You just took advantage of being able to fly!" Suddenly, a somewhat indignant voice came from behind Gabriel.
Following the voice, they saw another door open, and Gray Porcelain walked out.
