"It was time to go."
"Based on what happened earlier, we could basically confirm that Nomephins' Sighing Wall was most likely the hardest challenge in this mechanism corridor. There probably won't be any mechanism puzzles this difficult afterward." Angel said, "Gray Porcelain saved us so much time. We can't waste it."
Everyone nodded and followed Angel onward.
Sure enough, the next stretch unfolded just as Angel had predicted.
All the mechanism puzzles they encountered were extremely simple. The puzzle itself could basically be understood at a glance, though solving it might take a little time.
But with the three of them working together, each puzzle took no more than three minutes.
Twenty minutes later.
They emerged from the narrow, winding corridor and entered a great hall paved with triangular geometric tiles. There were no fewer than ten doors in the hall, each leading into a different branching path.
Seeing this, everyone understood that they had left the mechanism corridor.
The entire mechanism corridor had taken around fifty minutes, allowing them to bypass a conventional route that would have taken nearly four hours. They had made a killing.
Moreover, they were already very close to the boundary zone.
The nearest entrance could be reached by passing through just two corridors.
However, Angel did not choose to enter the boundary zone just yet. They still had unfinished business.
They needed to find Book Demons.
And more Book Sprites!
Over the next half hour, they encountered two Book Demons.
Gabriel and Angel each fought one, ultimately obtaining two new maxims from the crystals and mirrors within the hidden spaces.
"I sort through formulas to seek the pattern of His concealment."
"I transcribe manuscripts to continue His unfinished thoughts."
The information was still broad and hollow.
However, judging from the information they had
