The Book Fairy was still explaining the definition of "specialized knowledge," but everyone's attention had been drawn to the example she had given.
"What?"
"The Book Sprites were created by the Observer?!"
Gabriel and Gray Porcelain stared at the Book Fairy in disbelief. This was an entire race, a people with extraordinary abilities—and they had been created by the person standing before them?
Even Angel and the Rabbit Girl looked at the Book Fairy with stunned expressions.
Was this really not a joke? Perhaps it was merely a fictional example meant to illustrate "specialized knowledge"?
But the Book Fairy's answer soon proved that it was no fabrication.
"The Book Sprites did indeed come from my hand."
After a pause, the Book Fairy continued, "But that isn't important. I only used this example to make you understand..."
Before the Book Fairy had even finished speaking, Gray Porcelain shook its head violently. "How could that not be important? That's an extraordinary race! You created something like that so casually—you... you, are you sure you aren't a Creator?"
The Book Fairy laughed, then gently shook her head. "Of course not. I merely improved upon the knowledge left behind by the Cruel Scholar..."
The Book Fairy tried to explain, but the more she explained, the more stunned Gray Porcelain became.
Being able to alter a Demon God's knowledge and actually create a new race in the end—an extraordinary race, no less—was still unbelievably incredible!
On the other side, however, after hearing the Book Fairy's detailed explanation, Angel more or less understood the reason behind it.
It turned out that the Book Fairy had not truly "created" a race. Rather, she had used a certain special technique to improve the Book Demons.
Of course, "improve" could also be replaced with other words: purify, evolve, mutate...
