After Angel left, Luigi once again found himself with nothing to do.
"And he wants me to stop the Sun and Moon Wizards..." Luigi muttered. "As if I could."
He turned his attention to the Text Panel.
"Dawn's Dream: A special dream constructed within a gap between dreams, reflecting the countless dream omens of Dawn City."
"It practically spells out the connection to Dawn City. Everyone near Dawn City has been dragged into the vortex... The Sun and Moon Wizards definitely won't escape it either."
"How am I supposed to stop them?"
Luigi sighed for a long while, then cast a resentful look at the "culprit": the vortex on the Tree Door.
He knew his next main quest lay inside the vortex, yet he could not enter it... It was frustrating.
"I don't know why, but the more time I have on my hands, the more uneasy I feel..."
"Come to think of it, where exactly is that sense of something being wrong coming from?"
That strange feeling had been with him for a long time. Before, it had merely risen and fallen within him, like a vague anxiety, without showing itself much.
But after Angel brought news of what had happened in the secret chamber hall, that sense of wrongness had surged to the surface, as plain as cards laid faceup.
Luigi had always been good at keeping his emotions in check. He tried to suppress the feeling, but perhaps being alone made it easier to let his thoughts run wild, or perhaps there was some other reason. This time, he could not quite hold it down.
The more it troubled him, the more alarmed and puzzled he became.
Because it meant something must have gone wrong, yet he still had not noticed what.
