While the others were still immersed in the illusion of Ti Ti Ti Clock Shop, Angel had already reached the edge of the city.
A three-way intersection lay before him.
At the point where the three streets met stood a dilapidated little wooden house.
Even from a distance, he could see its shattered windows and half-broken door. Inside, it was full of rubble.
But as Angel drew closer, he discovered a spatial rift hanging in midair within the rubble-strewn house.
The rift was roughly large enough for one person, and a deep violet glow drifted from its center.
Beyond it lay Angel's destination: the last Dawn Store, Borderlands.
Sure enough, the moment Angel reached out and touched the rift, a familiar Wonderland prompt appeared on the Text Panel.
"You have discovered a Dawn Store: Borderlands Exhibition Hall." "Enter?" "Yes/No"
Borderlands Exhibition Hall?
This Dawn Store's name was a little different from the others...
Angel murmured to himself, then selected yes.
The next instant, a gentle pull came from the rift, as though it wanted to draw him inside.
Angel did not resist. He followed the pull into the rift.
Passing through it, he arrived in a land of mist. Dense white fog filled his vision, hiding everything around him.
The only thing he could feel was that pull. It seemed to act as a guide, drawing him in a particular direction.
Sometimes left, sometimes right. At one point, it even led him three steps forward and five steps back.
After several seconds of following it, a gap finally opened in the thick fog. Through the gap, Angel saw a clear, dazzling sky full of stars.
Above him stretched the night sky.
Beneath his feet lay thick, soft Cloud Soil.
Had he arrived somewhere above the clouds?
