Angel did, however, quietly point out that Cocorosa was a powerful wizard.
Shi En's heart stirred at that.
He had planned to visit a Small Dream Bubble and test his magic on the Dream Guests inside. But casting "Tranquil Murmur" inside a Dream Bubble would cost five Dawn Points every time.
Testing it outside a Dream Bubble would cost him no points at all.
Not only was Cocorosa a powerful wizard, she was also a Dream Guest from a Large Dream Bubble. Better yet, she had volunteered to be his test subject. That made her far more suitable than a stranger in a Small Dream Bubble!
Most importantly, Cocorosa was clearheaded and could give him definite feedback.
With that in mind, Shi En nodded without hesitation. "Sorry for the trouble, Ms. Cocorosa."
Shi En took a deep breath. Following the Text Panel's instructions, he raised his index finger and held it lightly before his lips.
A faint milky-white glow spread from his fingertip. A thin, soft halo veiled his mouth and nose, not dazzling, but like a layer of gauze.
The glow did not burst outward. Most of it gathered around his face, while a few fine strands of silvery-white light drifted away like willow fluff.
There was no roar, no grand spectacle.
Everything remained quiet.
When the last of the white light sank between his lips and teeth, the casting was complete.
