This was Duru's first time seeing the Gondola. Such a breathtakingly beautiful flying vessel was even more stunning than a master's painstakingly crafted work of art.
Its totems were mysterious, starlight draped it like gauze, and bubbles continuously surfaced beneath its hull, as though it were sailing through water. Wherever I travel, there is the sea!
Sitting aboard the Gondola, Duru did not even know where to put his hands and feet. Dazzled by everything around him, he even forgot the pain of his missing ear.
Time passed bit by bit. Only after Duru had finally adapted to the Gondola's rhythm did he have the mind to observe other things.
"Lord Pat, are we heading back to the Prosperous Continent now?" Duru asked curiously.
Leaning against the railing with his eyes closed in a feigned nap, Angel did not open them when he heard Duru's voice. "No rush. I still need to recruit some talented people from other continents. Our next stop is the Revelation Continent."
Duru looked at Morning Star Cape, which was already faintly visible in the distance. He hesitated for a long while, only speaking when the Gondola had flown over the top of Morning Star Lighthouse. "But, my lord, we're about to enter the Devil Sea. The Revelation Continent should be on the other side, shouldn't it?"
Angel's eyes snapped open. "The Devil Sea? Are you sure?"
As he spoke, Angel looked down. Sure enough, he saw Morning Star Lighthouse. This sea tower on Morning Star Long Island served as a supply station for vessels entering and leaving the Devil Sea. When the Cloud Conch had left the Devil Sea back then, it had passed through here.
Angel still remembered the islanders cheering with joy when they had passed by before...
