Weaving Beautiful Dreams

Dreamweaver Ants were a kind of magical insect said to have gone extinct a thousand years ago. Their effect was just as their name suggested: they could weave a dream for someone.

When Angel had obtained the Dreamweaver Ant in Sky Mechanical City, he had intended to give it to Jon. For one thing, the Dreamweaver Ant's effect was wondrous; for another, it closely resembled the story Jon had once told him about "A Dream in the Southern Bough."

For those two reasons, Angel had carried the Dreamweaver Ant all the way back to the Old Earth Continent.

The Dreamweaver Ant had originally come with a nest, pyramid-shaped and gifted along with it when Angel acquired the ant. But after Angel placed it in his bracelet, the little fellow had immediately abandoned its home and fled, settling down in the Soft-State Worm nest instead.

Though he did not know why the Dreamweaver Ant had chosen to seize another creature's nest, Angel had not stopped it. Now that he wanted to take out the Dreamweaver Ant, he naturally had to find it within the Soft-State Worm nest.

After taking out the nest, a faint scent of blood drifted from its holes.

Angel was no stranger to that bloody smell. It was Axo's essence blood. When Angel had brought Dodolo out of Pokladi, he had been contained in an exquisite coffin, and the coffin had been filled to the brim with Axo's essence blood.

After Dodolo awoke, Angel had collected Axo's essence blood. Blood from a Wizard-level Magic Beast was excellent material for blood ink. When used to inscribe magic patterns, it could increase the chance of special effects appearing.
