Jon's Dream

After leaving the Dream Realm, Angel's excitement had yet to subside.

But once the excitement faded, doubts began to arise in Angel's mind. Successfully constructing the Dream Entry Technique was naturally a good thing, but why did Nightmare Illusion possess the properties of dreams? Or perhaps it was not merely Nightmare Illusion—even the Nightmare Realm itself possessed the properties of dreams? Yet according to the records in Sanders' Mysteries of the Nightmare Realm, there seemed to be no connection drawn between the two.

Based on Angel's current understanding of the Nightmare Realm, he had no way to answer this question and could only set it aside for now.

Outside the window, the night was deep. The biting wind made the curtains billow and whimper.

On such a frigid night, nothing was more fitting than shutting the windows tight, listening to the cold wind howl outside, lighting the fireplace, feeling the warm glow of the flames, and sleeping soundly beneath a soft cotton quilt.

Entering Toby's dream naturally did not satisfy Angel. He decided to test a few more people, confirm the effects of the Dream Entry Technique, and only then enter Jon's dream.

So he quietly opened the door and came to the bedroom next door.

This was Aoli's boudoir. Standing outside the door, Angel could clearly hear the calm, gentle sound of breathing within with his current hearing. Aoli had certainly already fallen asleep.

Angel had originally planned to enter Aoli's dream and take a look, but before he could open the door, he heard her murmur in her sleep, "You're so annoying..."

Then came a string of delicate laughter, clear as silver bells.
