Return to the Ruins

After slipping into the gloomy Sina Trench and traveling for some time, he finally caught sight of the breathtakingly beautiful underwater city.

His last visit to Roydes was still fresh in his mind. Angel had never expected to return so soon.

After smoothly blending into the Waterless District, Angel quickly arrived at Peace Tower.

He held a gray card in his hand, engraved with a line of words in a special manner: Ashen Time.

He had once thought he would probably never have cause to use this card. Yet here he was, making an exception so soon. Angel shook his head and stepped into the shadow of Peace Tower—the Abyss District.

Though the Abyss District remained as steeped in sin and bloodshed as it had been last time, Angel completely ignored every external distraction and headed straight for the ruins where the Ashen Time Caravan was based.

Under the cover of Boundless Silence, Angel reached the ruins without incident.

The ruins had not changed much from his last visit. However, the iron cages were gone, as were the customers standing before them and passing judgment. Likewise, the Ashen Time Caravan members in black cloaks had vanished as well.

Angel walked around the ruins with the card in hand, but did not see a single person.

Beers had said that someone would remain here long-term to keep in contact. Apparently, that was not the case.

Angel sighed. Why had he trusted the words of a slave trader? Fortunately, this place was not too far from Revelation Continent, so he had not wasted much time.

As for the materials he needed, it seemed he could only think of another way... or take Duru back to Prosperous Continent first?
