The dense Nightmare Realm aura, so thick it seemed almost tangible, suddenly became active, all of it pouring back into Angel's right hand with a single shared purpose.
Angel jumped in fright, because he had clearly not instructed his right hand to absorb the Nightmare Realm aura.
This was entirely his right hand acting on its own.
Angel had no idea where the Nightmare Realm aura pouring into his right hand had gone. Not to mention that he currently possessed a mortal body—even in reality, he had only the vaguest understanding of his own right hand.
Yet as the Nightmare Realm aura surged into it with increasing ferocity, Angel felt his consciousness grow slightly muddled. The scene before his eyes blurred and sharpened by turns.

Like the legendary Boundary-Piercing Ring, a great hole appeared out of nowhere in the boundary membrane.
By now, Angel could no longer clearly distinguish reality from dreams, truth from illusion. His thoughts began to turn to sludge. No matter how desperately he tried to remain lucid, he could not
