When Angel regained consciousness, he found himself still lying upon the Dream Wilderness.
After opening his eyes, his thoughts stalled for a moment. But soon, one image after another surfaced in his mind.
"Scenery within a Box Garden," Angel murmured softly.
So in the beginning, the Dream Wilderness had merely been a Box Garden. Now, it seemed that colossal thing had left, but who knew whether it would return, or whether the "god" outside the Box Garden would replace it with another existence?
Angel raised his head and looked toward the somewhat misty sky.
Perhaps beyond that sky, someone was staring back at him—mocking him, looking down from on high.
If he did not wish to become scenery within a Box Garden, the only way was to break free from his restraints like that blond figure in the dream. And the prerequisite for everything was greater strength.
Angel shook his head with a bitter smile. It was still too early for him to consider such matters. He had not even begun to realize his own worth, yet he was already thinking about the more distant goal of transcending himself.
Temporarily sealing away the previous dream in the depths of his mind, Angel began considering the matter at hand.
He had gone through countless hardships to fuse a power. He needed to study what benefits this power could bring him.
