For now, Jon had already secured Dream Wilderness as a fallback. Even in the worst-case scenario, at least the glimmer of his consciousness would remain, and he could retreat into becoming a resident of the Dream Realm. Therefore, the foremost matter to consider now was Jon's physical body.
At Angel's current level, he definitely could not resolve Jon's condition. Therefore, he planned to tell Sanders about Jon, for Sanders was the only one he trusted.
After Angel told Jon of his intentions, Jon fell silent.
After a long while, Jon slowly said, "Back on Earth, some religions claimed that the human body was nothing more than a stinking sack of skin. As for me, so long as my consciousness can endure—or even so long as my name has not vanished amid the tides of history—I do not care about this shell of flesh."

Jon did not continue, but Angel understood what he meant.
Just as before, what Jon feared most was still that information about Earth would be exposed through his physical body.
"Although it is possible that some great wizard might discover information about Earth through your body, I believe that possibility is extremely low—almost impossible." Angel paused. "What is more likely to be found is the code of Earth's humans, rather than Earth's coordinates."
