"Lord Phantom Demon." The visitor lightly leaned on his cane and bowed to Sanders, who sat before the desk.
Sanders looked at the uninvited guest at the door, his brows drawing together unconsciously. "Vifit, what brings you here?"
The stooped little old man with white brows before him was Vifit from Western Mosa.
Vifit glanced from the corner of his eye and noticed Angel holding Frost Moon Confidential at one side of the study. His gaze flickered before he said to Sanders, "Lord Phantom Demon, I have a few questions I wish to ask."
The moment Angel heard this, he tactfully took his leave from Sanders. He had roughly guessed that Vifit had come to ask about the changes in the Eternal Night Kingdom.
After leaving the study, Angel found a comfortable spot in the hall and continued reading the book in his hands.
Inside the study, Sanders idly tapped the tabletop with his fingertips. In an instant, a chair appeared out of thin air before Vifit.
After Vifit sat down, Sanders raised his brows. "Go on. What do you wish to ask?"
"It seems Angel did not tell you why I came, Lord." A bitter smile spread across Vifit's loose-skinned face as he stroked the sand rat that had jumped onto his lap. "Perhaps he still has not forgiven me. Back on Frostwing, I truly was too hasty."
Sanders looked over. Vifit was putting on far too much of an act, but Sanders did not stop him. He was rather curious why Vifit and Angel seemed to be at odds.
Yet Vifit said no more. Instead, he sighed softly. "After all, the name Cassini was simply too shocking to me. That was why I lost my manners for a moment."
