Angel entered Fool's Academy City as its principal and began turning the empty city into a school for the Prushans. He established its staff and systems, gave the city’s Spirit a body, and set its nine academies on a path toward development.

• Angel entered Fool's Academy City as its Level 9 principal and signed the appointment contract, unlocking the mission to enroll a student and appoint a teacher.
• Angel decided to prioritize the Prushans, enrolled a Prushan girl, and appointed Buleida as an instructor.
• Angel helped Buleida register and teach the girl, whose awareness began to stir under the classroom’s Divine Awakening and Intent Union effect.
• Angel appointed Laplace and Lawrence as vice principals and Water Tower and Mona as branch deans, then gained management permissions.
• Angel proposed Crystal Devices to help staff manage missions and city services, and the Spirit of the Academy City made two devices for Angel and Mona.

Angel established Fool's Academy City, welcomed its first Prushan students, and prepared to leave after bringing Star Attendant inside. Meanwhile, the Red Mud Team escaped Night City's Inner World, and Angel followed Luigi's investigation of the linked Uriel and Mist Swamp Instances as Kemei pursued the Evil Spirit and the Forty Thieves.

• Ye Kalen arrived at Fool's Academy City, where Merlin encouraged him to teach Hollow Men and seek greater authority, while Pisi and Vasha chose their academy paths.
• Angel completed his principal tasks, gathered the faculty into a management group, and oversaw their debate about building a wonder and placing the city's teleportation point.
• Angel welcomed successive batches of staff and Prushans, established the city's systems and teleportation point, and brought Star Attendant in as an ordinary student.
• The Red Mud Team was trapped in Night City's Inner World by ghosts, but Rabbit Girl's team freed them, and Mud Pot led his group to leave the stage while Rabbit Girl and Gray Porcelain continued searching for daylight.
• Luigi investigated changes around the Uriel Instance and found a Tree Door leading toward Mist Swamp, while Angel concluded the instances were connected and urged further investigation of the Living Dead.
• The Decayer learned that the Prushans had settled in the academy, and Angel chose not to press it to abandon their remaining soul fragments before leaving through the Dream Gate to find Star Attendant.
• Angel discussed Sebas and Blue Flame at a Tea Party, then examined Uriel and Mist Swamp and found evidence linking the instances to the Forty Thieves and the Evil Spirits.
• Angel found Kemei near the unconscious caravan, replenished his illusion nodes, and watched as Kemei investigated the Forty Thieves, met One-Eyed Dragon, and asked about the Evil Spirit's origins.

Kemei, Uriel, Blanche, and Angel investigated the Evil Spirit and uncovered Ligota’s hidden soul within Priest Sion’s dreamscape. They unlocked the third truth by killing the Forty Thieves, and Sion’s soul vanished, leaving behind Luminous Water.

• Angel learned that Priest Sion had been a Radiant Church enforcement priest attacked by the Forty Thieves, and Camilo connected his case to Uriel’s search for Ligota.
• Uriel and Blanche entered the Mist Swamp Instance, where Kemei introduced them to the Forty Thieves and the wandering Evil Spirit.
• Uriel played Ligota’s Misty Moonlight, drawing Priest Sion to the camp, and learned that the music briefly restored clarity to him.
• One Ear told the group that Ligota had been fatally struck by an arrow during the Forty Thieves’ ambush, and Uriel realized Sion had been protecting her.
• Uriel entered the Whispering Curse and followed Ligota’s song through its dreamscapes until he found her soul inside an ice dome beneath a raging river.
• Angel explained that Sion had hidden Ligota’s soul within layers of dreamscapes, and Kemei identified the Withered Tree Stronghold as the likely source of the final clue.
• Angel reconstructed the inscribed slab’s information and revealed that killing the Forty Thieves would unlock the third truth fragment.
• Uriel killed the Forty Thieves, causing Priest Sion’s soul to emerge and briefly regain awareness before vanishing and leaving Luminous Water behind.

Shi En saved Ligota by housing her soul in his body, and the group later arranged to preserve both of them while seeking a way to restore them. With help from Camilo and Blanche, Uriel and Glaimo brought Ligota into the Dream Crystal Plain, where she might obtain a new body.

• Shi En freed Ligota from her punishment, but the Forty Thieves ambushed them and left them gravely wounded, so he used the Method of Seeking Self to house her soul in his body.
• Angel, Kemei, Blanche, and Uriel completed the Mist Swamp Instance, and Uriel chose to revive Shi En in the Dream Crystal Plain while Blanche and the Sun and Moon Wizards pursued Ligota’s rescue.
• Glaimo learned that Ligota’s remains had been discarded in the swamp, and Camilo confirmed that her living soul was sealed inside Shi En.
• Ms. Moon recovered Shi En’s residual soul, and the group chose to return it to his body while placing Ligota’s soul on a Soul Tree in Mist Swamp.
• Angel authorized Blanche, Camilo, Ms. Moon, and Mr. Sun to study Wonderland Inscriptions under conditions that included sharing their research.
• Camilo agreed to help Uriel and Glaimo reach Ligota through Blanche’s dream, then retrieved her sleeping soul from the River of Troubles.
• Camilo brought Uriel, Glaimo, and Ligota to Blanche’s Dream Design, arriving at a giant storybook in the Dream Crystal Plain.
