By all rights, Kaido should have been reduced to nothing but ashes, utterly annihilated in that torrent of energy.
Yet now, he had merely lost an arm, every bone in his body shattered, and fallen completely unconscious.
The injuries looked severe—fatal, even, for most people.

"I'm surprised he survived, but I'm also glad."

He was equally eager for the battle to come.
"Glad that I still have a chance to recruit Kaido, take him across the universe, and search for the planet from the prophecy," Boros said softly.
"Pwahahahaha!"
Garp threw back his head and laughed. "So that's it. You want to take that brat on as a Space Pirate!"
"Then you're too late. Maybe he would've agreed before, but now he definitely won't think much of you!"
Boros nodded. "Kaido did reject me before. He said something about how a mere universe could not compare to the myriad worlds. Can you tell me what the myriad worlds are, and who you are?"
