After yesterday's written test, the Hero Association tallied the number of candidates who had passed.
Out of 8,214 participants, 1,327 had passed.

The physical test was divided into two stages: today's fitness assessment and tomorrow's practical assessment.
But when the more than one thousand candidates saw the fitness test requirements, they were instantly dumbfounded.
First, they had to complete one hundred kilometers on a professional treadmill within four hours.
Those who finished could rest for an hour. Those who failed went straight home.
Next, they had to do two thousand push-ups within an hour.
Likewise, those who finished could rest for an hour. Those who failed went home.
Finally, they had to swim twenty laps in a fifty-meter lane within an hour.
What if they could not swim?
