Imu explored the Shinobi World's moon, sensed Hagoromo Otsutsuki's use of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and searched for Kaguya Otsutsuki's sealed space. Unable to breach her seal without risking her release, he left to study space-time techniques and planned to return for the three Holy Lands.

• Imu examined the moon and sensed energy flowing between the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, the Pure Land, and Tobirama Senju.
• Imu concluded that Hagoromo Otsutsuki controlled the Chakra of shinobi in the Pure Land and that Kaguya Otsutsuki's immortality applied only within the Shinobi World.
• Imu used ROOM to search part of the moon for Kaguya Otsutsuki's sealed space and located an anomaly.

He left Kukulkan to recruit and protect talented snakes, then settled in to spend the next few months transforming the nearly forty-thousand-square-kilometer plane into his personal realm.

• Imu entered Ryūchi Cave, where snakes were fighting for the vacant position of sage, and decided to preserve them for the Sea Ninja Village.
• Imu ordered Kukulkan to find talented snakes and protect them for himself and the Snake-Neck Tribe.

The World Government gathered all nine tailed beast jinchūriki in Roran City and prepared to use a new formation to extract their beasts safely. The extraction began, with crimson Chakra taking shape as the process appeared to proceed smoothly.

• The World Government invited Shinobi World leaders and gathered all nine jinchūriki in Roran City after developing a life-preserving unsealing formation.

Imu rejected opening Sea Star to widespread Chakra cultivation, setting strict limits on cross-world settlement and families.

• Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo appeared before Imu and asked him to spare Mount Myōboku and Shikkotsu Forest, offering Ryūchi Cave as thanks for defeating a demon and closing the Gate of Hades.

Hagoromo accepted after learning he would have to seize a second Ten-Tails from Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, and prepared to sign the contract.

• Imu explained Truth and offered Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki power and support in exchange for his eternal loyalty, including after he became a god.
• Hagoromo accepted the Truth Contract but asked how Imu would help him become the God of the Ōtsutsuki.
• Imu offered suitable planets for Divine Trees and revealed that Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, possessing the monk Jigen, had a second Ten-Tails.
• Imu told Hagoromo about Kaguya Otsutsuki and Isshiki Ōtsutsuki's history and gave him images and intelligence about Isshiki's abilities.
