• William renamed Russell Enterprises Umbrella Corporation, recruited Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, built The Hive, and assembled the UBCS and USS.
• William expanded Umbrella through acquisitions and construction, established its ranks and containment procedures, and had Halsey develop the T-103 Tyrant and the Spartan Program.
• When the system warned that anomalies had begun appearing, William deployed UBCS forces and three Tyrants to investigate reports of mass deaths in Athabasca.

• William and Carolos investigated the Santorini ruins, where Umbrella agents found a giant lion and were killed after discovering the tomb.
• Omega Company and Alpha subdued the Nemean Lion and Hydra, while Hunk found the harmless Ceryneian Hind beside Achilles’ coffin.
• William obtained Carl and Mylon through character draws, and Umbrella transferred the three guardians and Achilles’ sarcophagus to Greenland Island.
