Eren walked toward the Pawn, gritting his teeth as he wanted to fight him, but Carla grabbed his arm before he could get there.
He tried to break free, but after struggling for a few moments, Carla slapped him to the ground.
"Eren! Why are you always so impulsive? If this keeps up, you really will die!"
When Eren saw Carla crying, his anger dissipated. He did not want to make his mother worry, and he knew his terrible temper really needed to change.
He felt somewhat dejected.
The Pawn spat on the ground when he saw Eren. "The only reason you people haven't starved to death is because of us. Even children should know how to be grateful, shouldn't they?"
"Yes!" Armin immediately bowed to him. Only after the Pawn left did he finally let out a sigh of relief.
Eren and the others went somewhere with fewer people and began to rest.
"I'm going back, back to Wall Maria. I'm going to kill every last Titan!"
"Eren, you're not serious, are you?" Cold sweat broke out on Armin's face. He did not want Eren to risk his life against those invincible Titans at all.
Eren stood up from his seat. "Of course I'm serious. I'm not like those people who only know how to act tough while hiding behind the walls. I don't want this kind of life."
After saying that, Eren threw away the hard bread in his hand. Armin had to struggle to barely catch it. It would have been such a waste if it had fallen to the ground.
Armin said worriedly, "Eren, you'll starve to death like this!"
"Are you really willing to accept this? It's because we accept this kind of relief that we can't beat the Titans!"
"It's useless. We can't defeat
