Titans are humanoid creatures of immense size and physical strength. Their bodies differ fundamentally from those of ordinary living creatures: they lack reproductive organs, have no known method of reproduction, and seemingly do not require food to survive. 1042

Regeneration

Titans possess extraordinary vitality. Even destruction of the head does not kill them, as it can regenerate within one or two minutes. 1042

• Severing or destroying the flesh at the nape kills a Titan permanently and prevents regeneration. 1042

Physical Power

Titans can devastate buildings and overwhelm soldiers through their sheer mass.

Battle of Trost District

The Colossal Titan's appearance and the destruction of Trost's gate allowed Titans to enter the district, turning it into a slaughterhouse. 1040 1041

Trainees and elite soldiers were forced to use Omni-Directional Mobility Gear to target Titans' napes while attempting to protect civilians, maintain supply routes, and contain the influx. 1042 1065
