Su Yang helped Koga escape her stagnant friend group and brought her to Forest School, where Tsuyu took over Chika’s body. A sign-in sent Su Yang into Mitsuha’s body in Itomori four years earlier, where he began learning about her family and met a woman who lent him her phone.

• Koga told Su Yang that her rewinds began after Maeda Kita tried to confess to her, and Su Yang helped her accept money and transfer to Forest School A.
• Su Yang brought Koga and Tsuyumaru to Forest School, where Tsuyu entered Fujiwara Chika’s body and sealed Chika’s soul inside Tsuyumaru.
• Su Yang promised Tsuyu a physical body, brought Koga to meet Chika and Little Kaguya, and later rejected Ichika’s advances.
• A sign-in sent Su Yang to the Shinomiya Main House, where he overheard Shinomiya’s brothers plotting to deprive Kaguya of her inheritance and provoke her into eloping.

Su Yang used painting to help Yukino Hyakka return to school and staged an exhibition that brought attention to Itomori Town. At Forest School, he helped Chitanda Aru after Adolescent Syndrome separated her soul from her body, then returned to Itomori and encountered Mitsuha in the lake.

• Su Yang learned that Yukino Hyakka was beside Murasame Reion and resolved to counsel her while keeping Reion in check.
• Su Yang used painting to approach Yukino, learned about her troubles at school, and helped her face the teachers by presenting seven portraits as gifts from her supposed boyfriend.
• Sojiro and Mayor Miyamizu organized an exhibition of Su Yang’s paintings, helping Mitsuha’s father win reelection and allowing Hyakka to return to town without further insults.
• Su Yang revealed the Miyamizu Family’s soul-exchange tradition to Yukino and said he came from four years in the future, then returned to his own body.
• At Forest School, Su Yang found Chitanda Aru’s soul floating above the students and learned that her body had been moved after she collapsed.

Su Yang reunited with Mitsuha and Hyakka before awakening to his higher existence and arriving in Hakoniwa. After winning Black Rabbit’s trust, he helped rebuild No Name and prepared to draw powerful recruits by confronting the Community’s past and inviting talented youths to Little Garden.

• Su Yang met Mitsuha at Lake Itomori, visited her family, and helped her paint a work that could support her and Yotsuba’s education.
• Su Yang reunited with Hyakka and revealed that he had saved her four years earlier, then learned Rei'in had failed to change Hyakka’s fate before his intervention.
