This book has finally come to an end.
The whole book is 3.46 million words. I started writing it at the end of September 2019 and finished it at the end of March 2022. I finally managed to finish it.
Two and a half years passed, witnessing the fantastical years of 2020 and 2021... Looking back now, it still feels rather bizarre.
This book really took a very long time to write. The author had not expected it beforehand—how could I have imagined so much at the time? Back then, I was simply determined to finish a story and give some of my reader friends a satisfying conclusion.
After all, the old readers who followed me all the way know that my previous book was censored and died a terrible death.
It was abandoned, but not because I chose to abandon it. It was forcibly castrated... What could I do? I was frustrated too.
I was quite unwilling to accept that, so I gritted my teeth, stamped my foot, and started this book—in fact, it was a continuation written from a different perspective, still telling the story of Fuxi and Nuwa.
But thinking about it afterward, doing that really was not a good idea. It caused a whole pile of problems... For example, some readers said the plot was too padded and that the protagonist did not stand out enough, among other issues.
The author admits that there really were plenty of problems. I truly did a terrible job, failing to properly consider the reading experience of both new and old readers. All I can say is that this was an unsuccessful work.
This was a problem with my own writing ability, so I hope all the reader friends who have supported me all this time can forgive me.
Regardless,
