Xu Ying paid no attention to this encounter with Dao Alliance Master Primordial Void. Primordial Void had merely followed their party's wake by chance and arrived in the future.
In this future, Primordial Void had long since died—and had died at Xu Ying's hands.
Countless Chaos Creatures surrounded Xu Ying as they flew toward a Chaos Spiritual Root. This Spiritual Root was a yellow apricot tree, its branches already hung with bluish-yellow apricots.
The Spiritual Root was so enormous that it was broader than a universe. Brilliant Light flowed along its branches, and when the countless Chaos Creatures flew past it, they appeared infinitesimally small.
Above it, a juvenile Cosmic Hong Yuan had already begun to form.
The yellow apricot tree drew Primordial Chaos Qi from the Sea of Chaos, transforming it into nutrients that poured ceaselessly into this universe.
The Chaos Creatures carrying Chaos Immortal Mountain stopped. Xu Ying walked out of Immortal Hall and came beneath the tree. His majestic Primordial Spirit flew out and plucked some ripe apricots. He ate several himself before distributing the rest among the other Chaos Creatures.
The Chaos Creatures gave low, resonant cries, deep and sonorous. Their four limbs paddled like oars as they continued swimming forward. As the Sea of Chaos grew thinner, the resistance sharply decreased, and the pressure fell greatly as well. Their speed increased accordingly.
Before long, another Chaos Spiritual Root came into view.
These were two purple-vine Spiritual Roots, coiling around each other and winding upward into the Sea of Chaos. Their length was astonishing, and so was their power!
Above the purple vines, the two intertwined with each other like a bird's nest, and within that nest rested a Cosmic Hong Yuan.
The Chaos Creatures carrying the immortal mountain swam to the edge of the nest.
