Xu Ying heard this and stirred slightly. He awoke from his immersion in the Dao. Only then did he feel a lingering fear. His time immersed in the Dao had made him forget the responsibilities he bore, and he had actually become absorbed in studying the Dao!
This was extremely dangerous. When one became too immersed, one felt that the Great Dao surpassed everything. Yet what one studied and comprehended was often merely the minutiae of the Great Dao. One felt increasingly close to the Great Dao, but in reality gained little, and one's cultivation progress was instead dragged down.
Many cultivators felt that their insights grew richer and richer while meditating, but after awakening, their cultivation and strength had barely improved. That was precisely why.
Xu Ying walked out of the Primordial Beginning Dao Palace, and a vast purple Dao sea appeared before his eyes.
This was a sea of the Great Dao formed from Primordial Purple Qi. He did not know where it had come from or why it had appeared in this Great Void.
After observing it for a while, Xu Ying discovered that it was not surging toward them. Rather, it seemed to have been hidden beneath the Great Void and was now emerging from below it.
Before long, the Primordial Beginning Dao Palace was surrounded by the Primordial Chaos Sea. Xu Ying looked around and saw that the Primordial Chaos Dao Sea had already stretched as far as the eye could see, with no end in sight. It was like a purple line laid flat across the Great Void!
Countless universes floated upon the sea. There were even new universes being born from it!
